Magazine editors do not accept manuscripts without a copyright transfer contract. 2.3 The publisher may transfer all or part of the rights granted to it under clauses 2.1 and 2.2 to third parties or license third parties for the use of rights to which it is entitled. Rights arising from agreements between the author and the collective management companies, in particular VG Wort to which the author is entitled, are not affected. This document will allow the parties to complete the details of the work or work to be transferred and ensure that everything necessary for registration at the U.S. Copyright Office is available. Any party – either the person who transfers the copyright or the person who receives the copyright – can fill out this form. Please note that this form requires signatures and certification. Signed manuscripts and copyright transfer contracts should be forwarded directly to the journal in which the authors intend to publish their article. You will find contact information on the web pages of some magazines. 2.1 The author/publisher grants publishers (as long as they are transposable under current legislation or regulations) to the publishing house (if not the publisher) the following rights to the article, including additional material, as well as the following exhibits, excerpts or items: The following agreement applies if the article submitted by Walter de Gruyter GmbH/ Walter de Gruyter, Inc.
(the publisher) is accepted. If the author and publisher have reached an agreement stating that the article is an open access publication, the rights to the digital version of the article that the author grants to the publisher are not exclusive. The author reserves the non-exclusive right to publish all or part of the article in digital form, according to the Creative Commons CC BY-NC-ND license, free of charge on any open access platform, including a personal homepage, an institutional server or an object repository. In order to facilitate the interaction between the author and the publisher, please file copyright transfer agreements (in Russian or English) with the manuscript to the editor of the magazine concerned. The copyright transfer contract can be sent as a digital copy of the original (which is preferable) or as a paper copy. The copyright transfer contract should be signed with MS Word or by hand and signed by all authors (co-authors and copyright holders). Scientific works (scientific works) are protected by international and Russian copyright laws. Scientific work is intellectual property and is the subject of copyright protection. A copyright transfer contract comes into effect when a manuscript is accepted for publication in English.
If, for some reason, your article is rejected by a magazine editor, the agreement loses its strength. The decision to accept a manuscript to be published is the exclusive right of the editor of the journal concerned. By signing the contract, the authors guarantee that they have become familiar and that they agree with their terms. 2.2 The rights under item 2.1 are granted as exclusive rights for the duration of the copyright, as long as they are unlimited in space. If the author wishes to reproduce and distribute the article elsewhere after one year after its publication, he must obtain written consent from the publisher. Given the interests of both parties, the publisher will not unreasonably refuse its consent. If the article is presented by the publisher, the publisher informs the author of this provision.
